Here we are again April 2015 notes the second release from Just Finish It Records and Herschel36 a track called "Lost My Mojo".
Last month noted the first release “You Got a Way of Finkin” which incorporates an interview from The Queen of England. You may be surprised by some of the things she has to say and The Queen herself has inspired me to crack on with the next musical geo-tastic-political-electro-punk-sonic-bomb-buster-general.

The next manifestation from Just Finish It Records features a vocal from Marisen a Ukrainian born singer, who found herself in Malaga for a short period of time and wondered over to Marbella during a busy schedule of gigs and shenanigans in Asia Pacific where she is currently making a name for herself in Shanghai. Maria (aka Marisen) spent a few days with me by the coast of Spain and allowed me to record her, to chat about the geo-political situation, and together we came up with the following track “Lost My Mojo” and here it is:
WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THE UKRAINE?
I had an opportunity to interview Joel Skousen from World Affairs Brief and Joel gave me an insight into the Ukrainian situation and how this mirrors some of the geo-political movements around the world, and what we see on The Big Box in the corner of every home, is not really what is going on in reality around the world.

I am nothing more than an artist and a father, I believe in liberty and freedom, I want the best for my two children and the best for your children as well. For what it is worth Joel has been very realistic over the last year I have known him, he is very calm and he is regularly flown around the world to talk to groups of people on the topic. Through Skousen I learnt about the Ukraine and through Marisen I learnt about The Ukrainian people. The first thing I noticed about Maria aka Marisen, was her determination, single minded attitude and clear courage, she was a woman making a living in the music industry in Shanghai and Western Europe, which is no easy achievement by any man's standard. Plus she is also very attractive, beautiful actually, which really helps to be honest. I like these characteristics, as I think I have an essence of courage myself and I am fine looking man, at least this is what my Ma used to tell me.
As we spent time in the studio I was fascinated to understand more about The Ukraine, the people and the way of life. The Ukraine over the last few months has been a pivotal discussion within growing tension between the US and Russia and is the subject of discussion within this blog and song.
The only way I know how to speak in a creative and authoritative manner is through my music, so thats where I am going to stay with this whole global debate.

HOW WOULD I LEARN TO RECORD MY OWN SONG?
I spent 3 months studying Ableton Live at Dubspot in New York with Thavius Beck, well to be exact I did the online course and I dropped out after month 2, as the course was simply not working for me. However I managed to get the basics down and I preferred to use MacProVideo as an education resource. The genius element of the internet is the ability to self educate on any topic out there, if I can summon up the discipline to keep going. I must say there were times when I wanted to throw the towel in, and Ableton offers one to one telephone tuition in Germany to anyone who has a license.
Maria's father is called, ILKO LLEMKO is a brilliant Ukrainian musician, who gave me some insights into the Ukrainian situation and how the people in the country really feel about the ongoing war. I was surprised by his opinions. He is very anti Putin, whilst I believe Putin is the leader of the free world, Ilko is also very positive towards the West and wants to be accepted into the European Union, to paraphrase slightly Ilko told me that the Ukrainian people wanted freedom from the clutches of the Russians. OK SO ILKO IS VERY TALENTED BUT WHAT ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER MARISEN DOES SHE ALSO MAKE THE GRADE?

WHY USE MUSIC IS DISCUSS POLITICS?
Coming back to the situation in the Ukraine, I personally do not understand why the people of the world feel that joining the European Union is an act of freedom, however I have never lived in a Communist society! Every time the International Monetary Fund hands out of bucket full of democracy the result is normally war and poverty for the people of the country. Remember that the IMF was not elected these are private banksters who want only to line their own pockets. If you do a deal with IMF you might as well do a deal with the Scouse drug dealers on the Costa del Sol.

Here today, in the West we live under a liberal fascist socialist regime, signified by 4 words, Too Big To Fail! We no longer live in capitalism if we did the banking system would have fallen in 2008. As a race we need to recognise that we are under attack, although we have no War in London, the attack is through the many outstretch arms of the media. This is a war of information as the leading contenders for power are preying on your attention. Every time I pick up a newspaper I read the same story just with a slightly different angle. Every time I turn on the TV I watch the same television programme with slightly different characters.
I no longer have a TV in my house, my attention has moved from The Box to The Net. I was shocked to realise that 911 was referred to in multiple episodes with The Simpsons, this technique which is also used by Hollywood is called Predictive Modelling.
