Málaga continued their fantastic start to the season with another 3-0 victory in the Champions League, this time on the road over Anderlect. A brace from Eliseu and a converted penalty by Joaquín were the difference as Manuel Pellegrini's side were excellent.

Málaga dominated the first half, having most of the ball and out shooting Anderlecht 7-3. The Danish side didn't even have a shot on target during the half. Despite all that, it looked like the match would go to the locker room scoreless until Málaga earned a corner in first half stoppage time that finally led to them breaking through.

After Anderlecht's defense were able to head away the initial corner kick, the ball bounced once and Eliseu who sent a laser beam volley shot from about 25-yards out that Silvio Proto had no chance of stopping. In fact, by the time Proto realized what happened the ball was already in the back of the net. He just put his hands on his knees and dropped his head in disappointment.

Málaga got their second goal in the 56th minute thanks to a poor tackle by Anderlecht's Cheikhou Kouyaté on Nacho Monreal that earned him a yellow card and more importantly, a penalty for Los Boquerones. Joaquín buried the penalty to put the Spanish side up 2-0.

in the 64th minute, Eliseu got his second of the match. Anderlecht turned the ball over in the midfield, allowing Iscu to move in on goal, draw the defender and find Eliseu alone on the right side of the box. Eliseu used a clever chip shot to beat Proto who'd come off his line to try to close down the angle.
It was another impressive performance from Málaga who now sit alone at the top of Group C after two match days.
